Visual FX

SV2 Studios provides Visual Effects for video, commercial and film projects in several areas including (but not limited to):

1. Compositing CGI and live action footage – a recent example is this sequence from “One Shot” in which we added the muzzle flash, smoke, blood spurt and blood on glass. The original footage did not plan on using CGI, so motion tracking and careful compositing was used to blend all the elements. You can watch the full film here.
2. Rotoscoping - removal and masking of actors, objects, etc. in live action footage. A recent example is the music video for “Dreamkiller” in which multiple shots were combined to allow the lead singer to sing to different versions of herself. Watch the full video here.
3. Photographic Animation – special techniques developed by SV2 Studios to allow full motion from still photos. Taking existing “2.5D” and stop motion techniques, we’ve pushed them beyond to create stunning motion imagery as seen in “Outside In“, “Still Life” and “Under the Surface of the Moon”.

We are currently doing VFX Supervision for “Hellphone” and providing dozens of VFX shots for that film. Check out VFX Samples below.
