Filmmaking is the core passion of SV2 Studios precisely because it’s a creative umbrella for our many passions – storytelling, photography, music, art, sound and more.
Stephen heard the call to filmmaking after seeing 2001: A Space Odyssey as teenager. After time in the video and television as well as years of misadventures in film schools which left him deeply in debt, he gave up filmmaking for the computer field.
Despite a successful career as a computer geek, with the support and encouragement of Marie, he left corporate America in 1999 to return to filmmaking.
A decade later, he has made over a dozen films and worked on many more as cinematographer, editor, sound designer and visual FX artist. Explore his shorts, features and screenplays including his current “IMAX in a Basement” project. Marie has caught the filmmaking bug having now produced a number of Stephen’s film and video projects.
